Yes. You enter a card at checkout, but it isn't charged until day 14 — and if you cancel from the billing portal before then, you aren't charged at all. Same flow as Mercury, Linear, Stripe's own trials.
Pick a plan and sign up on monthly — that's what the trial is wired to. After day 14, switch to annual from the Customer Portal in one click; you pay 10 months for 12, prorated against the already-charged month. We're working on adding annual directly to checkout — for now this is the cleanest path.
Any invoice you've imported into muups that isn't yet marked recovered. Once recovered, it stops counting against the cap. We never bill on volume, only on the plan tier.
Imports above your plan's cap are blocked with a clear message — you can upgrade in one click from the billing portal. No surprise overage fees; we'd rather you choose to upgrade than be billed for it.
Because that's how the plan tier is priced. They aren't live yet — Voice is targeted for Q3 2026, SMS for Q4 2026. Growth and Scale subscribers get them at no extra cost when they ship.
Yes, from the billing portal. Mid-subscription cancellations keep you on muups until the period you've paid for ends — no pro-rata refunds (and no pro-rata charges either).
Yes — drop us a note via the contact form with a sentence about what you do. We adjust pricing for non-profits and very-early-stage companies on a case-by-case basis.
Scale already removes the caps, so "outgrowing" usually means a custom contract (multi-entity, MSA, SOC2 review). Contact sales and we'll work out terms — usually within a week.
